The Akron Fire Department (above) was built in the fall of 1961 and currently operates out of 2 stations located within the fire district. Station 1 is located at 1 Main Street and Station 2 at 14 Franklin Street. 

Station 1 houses 2 Fire Engines (#3, #4), a small pumper (#4-1) and Rescue Truck (#7) which is used primarily for EMS calls. Station 1 also hosts all of our events and is available for rental. Please Click Rentals for more information.
